Message: This is a High Point treasure passed on to a 3rd generation baker. I've been buying cakes and pies from the Sweet Shoppe for over 30 years and the taste and service has always been great. Love their red velvet so much that I had Ken Jr make my wedding cake in 2009. If you have a sweet tooth you can't miss at the sweet shoppe.

Message: Good variety of baked goods. Cake decorating awsome. I ordered a cake for a retirement party. I had no idea how I wanted it decorated. I only knew the colors we were using. The retiree loves to golf, and when I told the young lady who helped me that she immediately got a book with a picture of a golfer on a cake. Great customer service. The cake was moist and delicious.

Message: Old School bakery with decent prices. Been around for decades. Products that I have sampled were all good and prices are fair. Fritter was decent but I have had better. Customer service can be hit and miss depending on who waits on you.

Message: I am a native to the Piedmont Tried, I’ve moved away and lived many places, but there is always one place that I have to visit when I’m in town, Sweet Shoppe Bakery. I’ve recently moved back to the area and this is my birthday cake and I am beyond excited for the biggest bite of nostalgia I’m about to take when I eat a piece of this cake because their cake and icing recipe has not changed! If you can think of a design, they can do it. Not only are their cakes amazing they also have cookies, pies, and so much more. Do yourself a favor, treat yourself, it will be well worth the sugar crash later!
